Provisional Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist


Petena has graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. She is a passionate and friendly clinician who is eager to create a safe space for clients. She incorporates engaging activities during her sessions by using the client’s interests to motivate them. Petena is a bilingual Greek speaker and enjoys working with people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. She tailors her sessions to the individual client and includes families within her therapy to support them and ensure that their communication goals are being met.

Petena has experience in administering assessments and therapy for people of all ages within clinic, school and community settings, as well as providing telehealth services. She has experience working with individuals with a variety of developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, speech sound disorders, language delay and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and has interests in all these areas. She also has interests in stuttering and social skill development.
