Genevieve Tierney
Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist
Genevieve has over 30 years of experience working with people of all ages in the areas of intellectual disability, augmented communication, physical disability, autism spectrum disorder, language disorders, articulation, eating difficulties, accent modification and fluency.
She has worked with Scope, Yooralla, Department of Education and in private practice since 1987, and hold a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Speech Pathology.
Genevieve has continued her professional education over the years in all of the above areas such as the Lidcombe Fluency Program, the Visualising and Verbalising Program for language development, PROMPT for articulation and Key Word Sign Language amongst many others.
Genevieve thrives on seeing progress in her clients. She has a practical, problem-solving approach she combines with evidence-based programs, helping children and adults to enjoy working toward their individual goals.
